Recipients of the 2010 FRF Awards of Excellence in Engineering Education:

Since 2001, FRF has annually awarded the Fanni Graduates who have successfully continued and completed their higher education towards an MS or PhD in US with an outstanding performance.

The 2009-2010 academic year outstanding graduates were awarded by Dr. Reza Miraghaee and Mr. Ali Khatib Shahidi, representing the FRF Board of Directors, in a special ceremony.

The recipients of the FRF Awards of Excellence for 2009-2010 academic year are:

Mr. Arash Noshadravan, PhD, University of Southern California, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
He is a Ph.D. candidate, expected to graduate on August 2011. His thesis subject is: "Stochastic Multiscale Modeling and Detection For Strcutural Health Monitoring and Prognosis in Metallic Aerospace Systems".

Dr. Azadeh Alipour, Postdoctoral Scholar, University of California, Irvine; Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
She is a Postdoctoral Scholar. Her PhD dissertation was about "Life-cycle performance assessment of highway bridges under multi-hazard conditions and environmental stressors”.
