It is with regret and great sorrow to learn about the demise of Mr. Kazem Djafroudi in Paris, France in the early morning hour of July 20, 2010.

Mr. Djafroudi, an accomplished engineer, educator and statesman, enjoyed a long and prosperous life of building and teaching. His death followed a brief illness caused by heart problems. He survived by his daughter, Ariane, and his grandson, Ali.

A brief memorial service will be held in the honor of his life in Paris.

The board of the Fanni Reunion Foundation, hereby, offers its condolences to our colleague and friend, Dr. Siamak Jafroudi, and Prof. Kazem Jafroudi's relatives and friends. We pray for Professor Kazem Jafroudi's eternal peace and wish his relatives, especially our colleague and friend, Dr. Siamak Jafroudi, patience and a long prosperous life.
